In college I studied photography, then in graduate school I fell in love with printmaking and letterpress printing. Years later it is printmaking that finds its way back into my work which is most often mixed media on paper.

 

I find inspiration in organic textures, shapes, patterns, rhythms and processes, and enjoy working in media that allow me to explore those elements. My method is intuitive and exploratory.

I live in Portland, Maine with my wife and dog, and am currently a member of Pickwick Independent Press. At Pickwick, I am able to continue to find voice through letterpress printing.
